Comments about Burton Riglet Board Reel 2016:

I bought this to use with my children as they learn(ed) to snowboard. The instructors in the lessons used it to haul n00bies to the lift so I picked one up to use on her Burton Chicklet board.

So one important note: This ONLY works on Burton boards that have the bosses drilled in the nose/tail. It won't work on other brands.

So it came with some odd screws that were not the right head style ot sit flush but it wasn't really a big deal.

Use was easy and though it sometimes took a couple tries to retract, it was not really a problem. I used it to haul my daughter to the lift when we were on beginner slopes, but the reality was that teaching her to unstrap and re-strap was necessary anyway.

I transferred this ove to my son's board for this season and he is yet to use it.

Weight of the child is a factor- I can't imagine pulling a heavy kid would be too successful, as even my daughter (50 lb. in all her gear, with her board) seemed like it might snap the line- but the line always held. I was not interested in testing the actual limit but 50 lb. was fine.

I purchased the burton ringlet for my 2 year old daughter's snowboard; however, the ringlet doesn't recoil correctly without assistance. Price is a little high for a piece of plastic
