I bought the board bag because I found a cheap flight out to Denver and couldn't pass up the opportunity to go out there. I bought the bag with the intention of fitting my board and my friend's board in there.

After some creative packaging, I was able to fit my 160 board in there (with the bindings removed), her 150 board (with her bindings still attached, my bindings (loose), plus my size 13 boots and her size 9 boots and my helmet. We also got two pair of snow pants and some assorted base layer and clothes in there. We wore our jackets, but they would not have fit with all that extra gear.

The boards arrived in Denver unscathed, and after a few minutes of reattaching my bindings, we were good to go.

On the way back we even had room for 3 fifth of some delicious Colorado whiskey (stored in the boots). The bottles were not harmed on the trip back.

I also put a towel between the boards so they wouldn't scratch each other.

The bag is decent enough for short day trips, but I expect it would be unsuitable for air travel - the straps are a little unwieldy, and there are no additional pockets for other tools or items. Backpack straps would have been terrific. It can carry one board with boots and bindings, however.

Comments about Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag 2013:

I bought this case in 146 Digital floral design. It fits my 146 Burton Genie great. I left the bindings on the board, and there was enough room for boots, helmet (with googles and gloves inside), and I can probably stuff my pants in there too. Overall it does the job of keeping your stuff together, but I wish this model came with 2 shoulder straps which would make it easier to carry if you were going to an airport or w/e. But I think this would still be good for the times I stuff it in the trunk and take the board out to the slopes 2 hours away.

Comments about Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag 2013:

I was really nervous when I first ordered this board bag because I ordered it in the 146 and my board is a 145. However, this bag fits my board PERFECTLY while it has bindings on, it also fits another board without bindings, my boots, and helmet with room to spare. It is very lightweight and easy to carry. The only possibly negative thing about it is that there isn't a lot of padding so you have to be a little mindful of it.

this is a very good snowboard bag for short trips use and short boards, not recommended to go in a flight as it has no protection.

It's an okay case to cover your board for quick day trips to the mountain. However, it is not padded at all so offers little protection but it's still better than nothing at all on my board.
