Surface Skullcandy No Time Skis 2012 : Does this describe you: up late, sleep in, cops, bomb drops, handrails, PC, park booters, taps, bonks, generators, lights, salt, shovels, tow-ins, Breck, edits, webisodes, chat rooms and GoPros? If so, you’re a legit park skier. If you’re looking for a setup on a budget, look no further than the Surface Skullcandy No Time Skis. The No Time is a ridiculously fun playground ski with an even more ridiculous price tag. Slight early rise in the tip and tail make it easy to press, butter and lock onto handrails with the hooky feel of a traditional cambered park ski. There’s no better time than now to throw in a collaboration with the most respected audio brand in the world.
Shape
Early Rise Hybrid technology makes for an extremely smooth turn initiation and exit, along with keeping the skis hook free in the park. The Hybrid Camber underfoot allows for pop and edge hold when you need that extra bite.
Directional taper shape
Slight rise in tip and tail when skis become weighted
Construction
ABS sidewall construction
Bunch Pop consists of biaxial and triaxial fiberglass braiding make for some large sweet spots that allow for massive amounts of pop without looping out and puting you on your backside before you even get off the ground. Bunch Pop allows for some good response and snap when terrain gets tight and turns become quicker.
2mm mini-cap
2.5mm Full wrap edge protection
Extruded base
Binding reinforcement sheets
Co-branded Skullcandy x Surface graphic
Flex
Poplar wood core keeps weight down and ‘pop’ snappy – great for riding park.
Carbon Stringers add better and more progressive flex to the tips and tails. They enhance pop and strength without sacrificing weight.

Comments about Surface No Time Skis 2012:

This ski is by far the best park ski I have been able to ride. The traditional camber underfoot allows for huge pop whereas the slight early rise tip and tail allows for shorter turn radius and makes it more difficult to catch an edge. The lightness of this ski is perfection. super light which makes it easy to whip them around on rails as well as get those big spins on jumps. Overall, a great park ski that is durable, fun, and responsive.

Comments about Surface No Time Skis 2012:

This ski is amazing for skiing in the park as well as being awesome for skiing the rest of the mountain. The amount of pop in this super light ski is ridiculous. Another plus for this ski is how durable it has been for me, for the amount of rails I hit on a regular basis the edges have held up in a way I had never expected. I would recommend this ski to anyone looking to buy a very playful snappy park ski at a very reasonable cost.

Comments about Surface No Time Skis 2012:

These skis are substantially improved from last years model. More core material and carbon stringers make this ski more durable, poppy and overall a better ride in the park. I traditionall ride a 167 in the park but went with the 172 due to the early rise. I don't even notice the size difference. They are a little narrow underfoot which is helpful with rails but I think I prefer slightly larger for jumps. I prefer a jump line over rails and I feel like another 4mm under foot would be ideal. The top sheet does chip a little but substantially better than last years model (this year has a rounded top sheet to side wall. They are also pretty sweet with my bright orange rossi fks 140 bindings.
