Surface Anthony B New Life Skis 2012: Anthony Boronowski came out swinging in 2010 with a debut film segment with Nimbus Indipendent, cleanly stomping huge tricks off natural features in the Whistler BC while wannabes stared in amazement. Anthony has a style all his own both on and off his skis. This style translates into the super progressive design direction for the 2012 Surface Anthony B New Life Skis. At 122mm under foot, these will give you plenty of float, aided by the subtle 3 Stage Rocker in the tip and tail (in case you’re good enough to rip pow switch…)!
Shape
Features Surface’s signature subtle (6 degree) 3 Stage Rocker provides ample float in the deep with minimal effort while allowing for some amazing pop. Surprisingly, this shape doesn't sacrifice performance when conditions get a bit more firm.
A Symmetrical shape means the tip and tail dimensions and rocker profile are the exact same on both ends for a true twin shaping that shines in all conditions. The true twin shape adds versatility for riding backwards all over the hill.
Construction

Comments about Surface Anthony B New Life Skis 2012:

Awesome ski! I am currently riding the 184 New Life. Trying out the 194 was bigger than I really needed. It was totally manageable but a little long for tight places. The New Life in general is super jibby. Love the stiffness of it and how it mashes through chunder. BUY IT!

Comments about Surface Anthony B New Life Skis 2012:

I have numerous pairs of Surface Skis, and I think I can say that the New Life is my favorite. Having the super fat dimensions along with the stiffness of this ski make it super fun in all conditions. They obviously tear it up in blower snow, but I had to use them on a few groomer days this season, and they actually performed really well. Stable at high speeds, and nimble enough for quick turns. Definitely one of the funnest skis I have ever skied

Such sick skis. i have them in a 184 and they do awsome in the deep pow and dont do to bad on groomers. landing in the powder switch is so easy. it feels like im landing switch in the park with my park skis. so nice. in the powder they are really poppy and off jumps as well. top sheets are sick. buy them!

      New Lifes are boss flossin'

Comments about Surface Anthony B New Life Skis 2012:

The rocker profile is awesome; it keeps me flaoting in the deep stuff, yet I was able to carve switch on corduroy. I also love the Stable flex because I can charge on any type of snow and it will support me.

      Surface New Life

      By Sam D

Comments about Surface Anthony B New Life Skis 2012:

I am 6'1 and 185lbs, I took the 194s on a couple of runs on groomed, a run on some steeps w/ cliffs and pow. They are a very stable, powerful ski. The rocker helped turn them quicker and prevent tip dives. Not good for park spins due to the high swing weight. Skis like speed. Great carve when I leaned them over in chunder going fast riding out of a drop.
