Scott Punisher Skis 2012: The Scott Punisher Skis have the confidence to stomp a dub cork 1080 and the ability to shred any terrain. Made with a wood core and triaxial laminate, the Punisher is lively from edge to edge while providing added pop off any jump. The Punisher is Scott’s most proven twin tip, ideal for those looking to step up their game.
Shape
Traditional camber for pop and power
Dual Radius creates a more versatile ski that can turn when you want it to.
Twin tip has equal tip and tail height for easier and more consistent switch skiing/landings.
Construction
SSCL combines a classic Sandwich Sidewall Construction with a Laminate top and bottom sheet so the skis are forgiving but remain equally responsive. SSCL skis have a specific braiding and laminate combination to guarantee the best possible construction for its intended use.
Factory Finish with side edges ground at 89 degrees, base edges ground between .5 and .8 degrees for exceptional performance, and base finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind
Flex
A hardwood core with laminates makes the Punisher more forgiving but still lively.

Comments about Scott Punisher Skis 2012:

Not to be confused with the Punisher Jib, the Punisher is a sweet all mountain park influenced ski. I was only able to ski the short 173 which I'm normally around a 180-185 so skiing something that short combined with the rocker and taper made the ski feel a little twitchy. It wasn't unstable by any means but i think I would have felt a bit more confident in it at higher speeds had I a little longer size. From skiing it though it would be awesome for someone looking for a wider ski but doesn't want to go more than 100 or so in the waist. The rocker and taper will make it more surfy and playful when you get it off trail. I think this will be Scott's big player in the North America ski market.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
