Scott Crusade Skis 2013

The Scott Crusade keeps the entire mountain in mind. With a narrow waist the Crusade is made to grip groomed slopes while the Venturi Tip & Tail design helps to increase flotation in all snow conditions. Make sure this year you can successfully take over the entire mountain with the Scott Crusade ski.
Rocker Type
Pro-Tip Rocker (375 mm) - Producing a more consistent ski flex and predictable turns while also excelling in powder and giving the rider a more forgiving ride
Sidecut
Dual Radius - Two radii create the shape of the ski instead of just one resulting in a more versatile ski that is not confined to just one style of riding. A larger front radius provides great stability and forgiveness in all snow conditions.
Sidewalls
SSCL Triax - SSCL Triax achieves torsional rigidity on wider skis delivering exceptionally strong and stable skis.
Edges
Factory Finish - Offering an effective edge angle of 88˚, resulting from a 3˚side and 1˚ base angle for an exceptional performance, the base is finished with micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.
Pre-Track - Unique shovel and tail geometry offers a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on groomed slopes and longer effective edge when making bigger turns or skiing off-piste. The result is a more precise, stable and versatile ski.
Additional Features
Venturi Tip & Tail - Found exclusively in Scott skis the Venturi geometry decreases the running surface pressure, allowing the ski to track better with less effort, meaning the ski will be more forgiving without sacrificing performance.
Binding Compatibility
Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Comments about Scott Crusade Skis 2013:

We're always looking for the elusive 1 ski quiver and the Crusade could be it! Skied it at Vail, Jan. 27 - Feb. 1 in pretty much all conditions...groomers, bumps, crud, and finally knee deep powder. I was amazed at the versatility of this ski. I had been on the K2 Crossfire or Line Prophet 90 depending on conditions. I have retired both pair in favor of the Crusades. Not dissapointed with anything about that ski. Well done, Scott!
