Salomon Twenty Twelve Skis 2012: Salomon is known for producing game-changing equipment for breakthrough performances. The Salomon Twenty Twelve Skis are super playful all-mountain skis with long, low twin rocker for amazingly easy pivoting but real stability and terrain versatility. Take them in the park, take them on the steeps, take them in the trees, the Twenty Twelve will go anywhere and jib off of anything.
Shape
Twin Rocker shape has a rocker in the tip and tail with a 40% pressure zone when flat that smoothly transitions to an 80% pressure zone when on edge to retain a long contact zone for stable all-mountain skiing. This is super playful and maneuverable for easy spinning and pivoting without catching an edge.
Construction
Sandwich Sidewalls offer extraordinary smooth ski/snow contact and great terrain adaptation. This is a must for park and pipe. Laminated sandwich sidewall construction enables Salomon to combine appropriate material layers for targeted performance.
PULSE PAD is a layer of rubber along the edges and in certain zones of the ski for a smoother ride and improved ski-snow contact.
Wide Edges are thicker for increased durability and improved shock resistance.
Total Edge Reinforcement has a fiber directly on the edges providing edge stiffness for improved durability and grip.
Flex
Full Woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound, which maximizes ski/snow contact and filters vibrations.
Dimensions
17.6m @ 163cm, 19.7m @ 171cm, 21.9m @ 179, 23.9m @ 186cm 123/91/116 (all sizes)
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15mm wider.

Comments about Salomon Twenty Twelve Skis 2012:

These are amazing all around skis for park, pow, etc. The ski tracks app (iPhone) clocked me at a max speed of around 100 km/h with these skis. At these speeds the skis stated to chatter quite a bit, but I was impressed as these aren't racing skis! Extremely fun, easy to carve, great for park! They are thick enough to keep you stable and easily a-float on pow, but skinny enough to be really fun on the groomers as well! The only thing I don't like about them is the top of the ski (sticker) got a big chip taken out of it from a very minor rock hit. It also seems to peel off around the edges of the ski. While this isn't a big deal, it a little annoying! Nonetheless, these are awesome skis and the scratches just make them look more rad :)!

The Funnest Ski You Will Ever Ride On!

    By eStai

    from Stevens Pass

Comments about Salomon Twenty Twelve Skis 2012:

Really good all around ski to ski pow and park. Gives you a lot of pop so it is very playful. It's a rockered ski so it is a lot of fun. If you are looking for one ski that will do it all the TwentyTwelve is the best choice.

    Wanna Have Some Fun?

    By Dr. Sue

    from Stevens Pass

Comments about Salomon Twenty Twelve Skis 2012:

I really liked this ski. It took very little time to adjust to the longer swing distance of the tail and the really quick (as in don't try too hard) turn initiation. Soft stuff, a little hard, a little fresh, a bit of bumps-fun, fun, fun! Not for really hard packed, but tolerable. Good enough for a one-ski quiver and more playful than the Shogun.

Comments about Salomon Twenty Twelve Skis 2012:

Great improvement from my 7 year old skis. Fun and playful, but still good getting through the WA crud. Only downside is they won't float as much as true powder skis, but I'm more of an all-mountain skier anyways.
