Shape
Traditional camber for ultimate park performance
Construction
Sandwich Sidewalls offer extraordinary smooth ski/snow contact and great terrain adaptation. This is a must for park and pipe. Laminated sandwich sidewall construction enables Salomon to combine appropriate material layers for targeted performance.
Edge Armor incorporates an extremely durable polyethylene fiber cord cross-laced between the edges of the skis to increase the edge strength for less edge depression and wrenching.
Wide Edges are thicker for increased durability and improved shock resistance.
Total Edge Reinforcement has a fiber directly on the edges providing edge stiffness for improved durability and grip.
Flex
Full Woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound, which maximizes ski/snow contact and filters vibrations.
PULSE PAD is a layer of rubber along the edges and in certain zones of the ski for a smoother ride and improved ski-snow contact.

Comments about Salomon Suspect Skis 2012:

Let me start off by saying a lot of the other reviews will be from people who hear what the skis are like and base all their judgements off what other people tell them. I love these skis. I came off Line Anthems and was a little skeptical on buying the suspects because I heard their edges are terrible, but at a local ski swap I picked them up for pretty cheap. I couldnt pass them up. They are so fun to ski and weigh, it feels like tons, less then the anthems. I ride park mostly because thats all I really have. I hit alot of rails and despite edge cracks the edges are still in there. The top sheet do chip but if you have ever skid park before you know its not if your going to chip your skis its when and how bad. The skis are really light and flick able and you can turn any straight landing into a switch landing with ease. When I buy skis again, I will definitely look at suspects first. Also be sure to check out [...] on facebook and like us! Thanks.
