Finally found a ski to take my Pocket Rocket's place. Really quick in the bumps and trees. Will get you off the mountain at the end of the day even if the groomers are really hard. They are super fun in the powder and handle the crud really well.

The Salomon Rockette 115 has to be one of the most effortless skis that I have ever been on. It's so lightweight and turning is so easy. The ski has a little camber underfoot but feels pretty flat and buttery. That little bit of camber still allows for some carving on the groomers. The lower profile tip rides nicely through deep snow and doesn't plow. The ski has a loose, fun, feeling and skis pretty short. I am 5'7", 140 lbs skiing the 178 cm ski.

Excellent float, hard charging ski. Smooth and buttery on turns, very fun and playful. 170 is a bit long for me at 5'2" but it was surprisingly manageable. After a couple of runs I didn't really notice the length. Fun ski

I am so excited about this ski! I currently ski on the 2012 Rocker 2 in a 180cm. This Rockette I have been told is very similar, with the exception of the hot pink top sheet and a slight decrease in tail rocker. The general shape (dimensions) and flex are unchanged. I think this ski is incredible! The slight decrease in tail rocker gives the ski just a tad more effective edge than its predecessor, allowing it to ski more traditionally and making it altogether more versatile.

I fell in love with these skis. They ski like butter! They turn easily and smoothly. I felt like I have control and can stop quickly. I can also carve and go fast on groomers.

These are pretty amazing skis. Super fun in powder but that's to be expected. The rocker, flex and shape are really well thought out and the ski charges just as hard on the groomed runs as it does off-piste. This is is way lighter than what I'm used to skiing (the K2 Hellbent) and at first it felt a little shaky and I even ended up crossing my tips a bit but once I got used to the lighter weight I absolutely loved them and I was able to maneuver them so much easier. I usually don't like hiking out to the sidecountry much because my skis feel so heavy but having a lighter weight ski made all the difference on my shoulder. I don't normally ski on women's skis because they usually feel to short but the 180cm of the Rockette was exactly what I needed and 115mm waist is very versatile. Salomon definitely nailed it with this ski!

I was lucky to be able to test out the Rockette 2 different days and get to ski it in variable conditions. The Rockette is so much fun for deep pow days. It's rocker shape keeps you on top of the snow, making it hard to not have an awesome day. It's definitely a powerful ski and I would recomend it to advanced to expert skiers. Rock on.
