A true all-mountain ski, the Salomon Enduro XT 850 Skis offer versatility all over the resort. Crushing groomers or dodging trees, the Enduro XTs are for the skier who just can't decide what they want at the mountain, and that's completely alright with us. With rocker at the tips for improved performance in the deep stuff and an active dampening system for improved stability in all snow conditions, the Salomon Enduro XT 850s will struggle to find a terrain they don't destroy.
Rocker Type
All Terrain Rocker - Single rocker shape in the tip area, medium length and low height, that enables maximum terrain absorption and easy, progressive turn initiation without sacrificing stability. Salomon Patented design

Shape
Intuitive Square Tail - New tail design for the Exploring skis category, enables powerful turn completion on groomers and security on very steep terrain
Core
Full Woodcore - Wood from tip to tail improves stability and rebound, maximizes ski to snow contact and filters vibrations
Laminates
Double TI Laminate 400 - Double layer of Titanium (0.4 mm) improves on-piste performance. More precision, enormous edge grip and improved responsiveness

Bamboo Layer - Light, strong bamboo layer provides liveliness edge to edge.
Sidewalls
Sandwich Sidewalls - Sandwich sidewalls for extraordinary smooth ski/snow contact and great terrain adaptation. A MUST for Park & Pipe and performance proven in the race Milieu! Laminated sandwich sidewall construction enables Salomon to combine appropriate material layers for targeted performance.
Edges
Total Edge Reinforcement - A fiber reinforcement is laid directly on the edges, improving edge stiffness, durability and grip.
Additional Features
Oversized Pulse Pad - An elastomer layer is placed all along the edge and/or the whole front part of the ski. The result is shock absorption and anti-vibration for smoother and softer ski/snow contact.
Tip Protector - Increased ski longevity to keep skis visually attractive even after intense use
Protrak - Added precision and power to improve control with fluidity in turns; part of the Smartrak system
Powerline All-Mountain - Active Dampening System dedicated to wide skis: 2 Arms running along the ski side of the ski absorb terrain changes, improving stability in all snow conditions.

Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber
    Rocker/Camber
Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
  • Turning Radius: Short
    Short
< 16 m radius is best for carving.
  • Core/Laminates: Bamboo, Basalt, Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
    Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
