The totally redesigned Rossignol Squad 7 Skis are the ultimate big mountain choice for legendary skiers such as Enak Gavaggio and Dan Treadway. This year the Squad 7 receives a significant weight reduction thanks to a Paulownia wood core and "air tip" technology for decreased swing weight and better touring performance. Thanks to Rossignol's high end Diago fiber laminates and Free V.A.S. technologies, the Squad 7 loses nothing of its high speed stability, making it an absolute monster for big mountain applications.
Powder Turn Rocker Newly redesigned to deliver even more versatility and superior flotation. A longer, more progressively rockered tip minimizes "tip flap" in variable snow and hardpack while the tapered, more powerful tail drops into soft snow, enhancing flotation and providing effortless steering with instant speed control. Traditional camber underfoot delivers power, energy and edge grip for groomed snow performance.
Centered Sidecut The sidecut features a unique tapering of tip and tail with a short sidecut directly underfoot. A deep radius gives edge grip and power underfoot while a short length of sidecut allows easy steering and playfulness.
Air Tip An all-new, patented air-honeycomb design reduces the weight and dramatically reduces the swing weight of the ski by nearly 30%. This significantly enhances maneuverability, giving the ski an ultra-light feel. The tip is reinforced with ABS for durability and enhanced torsional rigidity.
Light Core All-new ultra-lightweight Paulownia wood core with Race Department Diago Fiber laminate combines with the Air Tip to reduce overall ski weight by 20%, enhancing maneuverability and touring capabilities, with no compromise in downhill performance.
Free V.A.S. Visco elastomer material helps to smooth the rocker/camber transition, reducing "tip flap" and increasing stability, and maintaining control and snow contact in variable conditions.
Sandwich Laminate Wood cores with high tech laminates provide the ultimate in stability, power and durability.
Compatible with 7 Series Climbing Skins Trim to Fit

Comments about Rossignol Squad 7 Skis 2015:
super fun ski both in powder and basically everything else. from waist deep pow in the Cascades, to teaching little rippers in Colorado, this ski does it all. im 6'3" and weigh 205 lbs and this is my favorite ski ever. the one thing i might change is just a few mm wider along the whole ski to float just a bit more. way more fun, and far more stable than the old super 7. rockered rossi's rock
