Comments about Rossignol S3 Skis 2013:

As a New England skier I'm extremely interested in skis that can handle a very wide range of conditions. I own specialized skis for ice and powder, but was looking for a good ski for days like today - where there are icy spots on the runs, the packed surface is churned up with a combination of cord and ice balls, and the fan guns are blazing away and laying down random powder stashes...and you can get all of that within 50 feet down the run. This ski handles that level of variability SUPERBLY. It's agile and flexible without turning into a noodle at speed. It will lay in an edge and carve with a reasonable amount of pressure, but it floats right over the piles of dust. It's heavy enough that it doesn't start tossing you around in the crud. Super ski - I think it's going to be the Go-To ski in my quiver unless I'm riding ice or a fresh powder dump. On ice, I want my Volkls. In fresh pow, it's the Rossi S7 all the way...

      S3 loves to edge

      By NW yeti

Comments about Rossignol S3 Skis 2013:

I demo-ed this ski for a couple of runs and had a ton of fun. This ski loves to edge and is stable at high speeds. It really likes to turn and I found that it's shape naturally initiates turns, which makes it feel really playful and easy to use. After going about Mach 10 down the run, my legs weren't even burning. While it may not be the ski of choice for a powder day it's a fast and versatile ski ideal for conditions on the groomed trails under the lift.

Comments about Rossignol S3 Skis 2013:

This is my everyday ski. Super light, playful and great in just about all conditions. It may not be my best carver on hard snow ever, but I live in Steamboat and work on the mountain. I also own the S7's which are my deep powder ski. Use it in crud, powder, groomers, bumps and trees. You can cruise at high speeds or think turn and it is there.

Just get home from week trip in Utah. Great ski for all mountain all snow condition.
You can find better carving, better powder, more aggressive, more precise ski,
but try to take 3 pair skis to the plane. If you are looking for one universal,
all mountain pair of skis that feel at home in and out of boundaries, this is it.

            Okay all mountain ski

Comments about Rossignol S3 Skis 2013:

A good all mountain ski that offers good versatility in a number of conditions, but never excelled in any of them. It skied the groomers fast, got through the crud okay, and it was slow goings in the deeper snow. It has a rockered tip, but I felt just a little more rocker to help with the softer wet snow. I thought it was pretty light, but got a loose when really opening the ski up on the groomers. Decent ski, but really lacked the wow factor I was hoping for.
