Product Details

Rocker Type

Auto Turn RockerThe most versatile rocker and camber blend now features a longer, more progressive tip profile for increased stability and hard-snow precision. Traditional camber through 70% of the ski retains the power, energy, and edge grip for confident on-trail performance; while moderate tip and tail rocker encourages effortless carved turns, easy steering and instant speed control in all snow conditions.

Shape

Air TipA Patented Technology exclusive to Rossignol! The tip is air filled for maximum lightness and constructed to retain maximum torsional rigidity. The ski's weight is redistributed, freeing the tip and tail of the ski and providing greater ease, security, and versatility. The fact that the center of gravity is closer to the center of the ski concentrates strength under the skier's feet.

Core

Light Wood (Paulownia)Skis are 15% lighter thanks to the new Paulownia wood core, a wood with lower density but equally as strong. Combined with diagonal fibers, the new skis are even higher performing, making for easier hiking uphill, more stability downhill, greater agility, and a whole lot more fun. Fat skis have never been this accessible.

Laminates

CarbonThis is the Formula 1 of fibers, incorporated to guarantee superior skiability. Carbon fiber's light weight and mechanical properties are unbeatable, providing power, grip and acceleration. This fiber requires a lot of work to adapt cores and flexibility, but when mastered it offers unparalleled ski-snow contact and breathtaking performance.

Sidewalls

Maxicap SandwhichVery solid construction with reinforced topsheet for more durability. The sidewalls are angled at 30° to reduce inertia and overall weight while improving grip.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
