Product Info

There's something religiously good about the ON3P Steeple 112 Skis. Maybe it's their ability to inspire confidence even on the steepest of skin tracks, or maybe its their incorporation of ON3P's Tour Layup which results in a super light ride, or maybe its even their ability to ski a wide variety of terrain. Whatever it is, these skis shine. Reverse Elliptical Sidecut allows the Steeple to remain stable and solid on hardpack, but gives them the maneuverability and stability required to charge and smear in any soft conditions. Skin friendly tips and tails lend confidence to exposed kick turns. To top it all off, rocker in the tip with lighter rocker in the tail allows for excellent maneuverability in powder and an easy release in firm snow. Get out there and get at it with the ON3P Steeple 112 Skis.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Elliptical Rocker ProfileThe rocker profile and tip shape are combined into one progressively changing elliptical arc, which allows the tips to plane faster in powder, deflect less in variable snow, and helps the effective edge running within the rocker length to engage in a more natural, effortless way.

43 cm tip rocker // 26 cm tail rocker

Sidecut

Bi-Radius SidecutThe sidecut consists of a smaller turn radius in the tip that works in conjunction with a larger turn radius in the tail, creating a directional ski that is stable going straight, but will easily carve once the turn is initiated and the ski is on edge.

Reverse Elliptical Sidecut (RES)RES combines the best of both words - skis with RES have all the advantages of increased float, maneuverability, and shredability exhibited by many of the completely reverse sidecut skis on the market, but does so without sacrificing edge hold, stability, and hardpack performance, creating a ski that is truly ready to take you wherever you want to go.

Core

Bamboo CoreThe heart of every pair of ON3P skis is the vertically laminated, 100% bamboo core. Bamboo provides a responsive, yet damp characteristic to ON3P skis that we have grown to love. The ON3P core shape gives the ski strength where it needs it, better for resisting warping and breakage. Bamboo is also a quick growing, environmentally-friendly grass.

Tour LayupA redesigned, thinner core profile supported with additional layers of full-width carbon fiber results in a lightweight, tour-oriented ski.

Laminates

Extra Wide Binding MatAn additional layer of fiberglass mat provides increased screw retention and prevents pullouts. To ensure proper coverage for all types of hole patterns, ON3P extends this mat to nearly full width on every ski they make.

Tri-Axial Fiberglass19 oz or 22 oz Tri-axial Fiberglass provides torsional stiffness, ensuring edge hold and power transfer.

Unidirectional Carbon StringerEach ski incorporates unidirectional carbon around the core, adding pop, stiffness, and dampness without any significant increase in weight.

Sidewalls

UHMW Sidewalls and Tip SpacersUltra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene is an incredibly strong material, has a higher abrasion resistance than steel, and resists cracking (unlike ABS).

Base

1.8 mm 4001 Durasurf Sintered BaseON3P Durasurf 4001 base material provides their skis with better glide and protection from damage compared to other sintered and extruded base material, and is 38% thicker than the industry standard.

Edges

2.5 mm x 2.5 mm Extra Thick Edges ON3P uses a 3/4 wrap for their 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm Rockwell 48C steel edges. The 3/4 wrap allows the tips and tails of the skis to flex, decreasing the risk of delamination.

Additional Features

VDS (Vibration Dampening Strips)VDS rubber is applied to the edges & sidewalls, acting as a shear layer that provides improved bonding strength and vibration dampening.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
