Product Info

The ON3P Prester Skis were built for hot laps in the park. Full camber provides unmatched edge grip for tight turns on the approach, and also provides a stable platform to ride away clean after sending that dub cork to the thug zone. These skis are energetic and poppy, and love to take to the sky. An updated tip profile reduces the swing weight, making those spins that much easier. Ready to tackle any man-made feature, the ON3P Prester Skis are your ticket to the podium.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Fully CamberedCamber is the traditional profile construction for skis and snowboards. Camber is a slight arching upward curve with the bend or curve upward in the middle. Camber requires precise turn initiation and offers superb handling and plenty of power on groomed terrain and harder snow. The rider's weight puts an even and concentrated pressure on the edge from tip to tail, resulting in increased edgehold and precision.

Sidecut

Elliptical SidecutThe sidecut consists of an elliptical arc that begins at boot center and gets progressively smaller as it extends toward the tip and tail of the ski, resulting in a ski that carves harder the more it is put on edge, yet remains stable when it is skied flat.

Core

Bamboo CoreThe heart of every pair of ON3P skis is the vertically laminated, 100% bamboo core. Bamboo provides a responsive, yet damp characteristic to ON3P skis that we have grown to love. The ON3P core shape gives the ski strength where it needs it, better for resisting warping and breakage. Bamboo is also a quick growing, environmentally-friendly grass.

Laminates

Extra Wide Binding MatAn additional layer of fiberglass mat provides increased screw retention and prevents pullouts. To ensure proper coverage for all types of hole patterns, ON3P extends this mat to nearly full width on every ski they make.

Tri-Axial Fiberglass19 oz or 22 oz Tri-axial Fiberglass provides torsional stiffness, ensuring edge hold and power transfer.

Unidirectional Carbon StringerEach ski incorporates unidirectional carbon around the core, adding pop, stiffness, and dampness without any significant increase in weight.

Sidewalls

UHMW Sidewalls and Tip SpacersUltra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene is an incredibly strong material, has a higher abrasion resistance than steel, and resists cracking (unlike ABS).

Base

1.8 mm 4001 Durasurf Sintered BaseON3P Durasurf 4001 base material provides their skis with better glide and protection from damage compared to other sintered and extruded base material, and is 38% thicker than the industry standard.

Edges

2.5 mm x 2.5 mm Extra Thick Edges ON3P uses a 3/4 wrap for their 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm Rockwell 48C steel edges. The 3/4 wrap allows the tips and tails of the skis to flex, decreasing the risk of delamination.

Additional Features

VDS (Vibration Dampening Strips)VDS rubber is applied to the edges & sidewalls, acting as a shear layer that provides improved bonding strength and vibration dampening.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
