Sweet Ski
By SammyVerified Buyer from Concord, NH on 3/29/2007
Describe Yourself:
Advanced
Pros:
Durable, Flexible, Pop
Best Uses:
Park all mountain
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Line Skis Invader 2007:

Sick, sick, ski. The butter zones make it flex perfectly so you can pop onto the rail, off the lip of the jump, or just carve a nice turn in the powder. Nice and wide to provide stability. It is literally possible to ski as well switch as forward with the Invader.

This is my first pair of Line ski and I am very impressed. It has a lot of pop and is amazing on rails. It is hard to scratch and is very lightweight. This ski is going to be great at Champ Of Campions

Comments about Line Skis Invader 2007:

ok so here's how it rolls..... i had a pair of line chronic and was disappointed with their ability to cork. i heard about the invaders cork ability and decided to hit them up. i rode in mad hard on a 80 foot table and was just lookin for a cork 3. i apparenty hit it too hard and the invaders sent me into a cork 9 and somehow stomped it. i rode to the bottom and my friend was like "yo man u just double corked".... i was stoked. i dont really know if it was me or the skis but either way the invaders are filthy good.

Comments about Line Skis Invader 2007:

I bought these skis for my first year in freestyle skis. They got me farther than i thought i could achieve in one season. I'm hitting rails, jumps, and pretty much everything I didn't think I would be able to do. Not only do these make a great beginner ski, but I'm sure I'll be riding line skis for the rest of my life.

ABOUT Line Skis Invader 2007

The Line Skis Invader continues with its one-of-a kind jib-specific features. Line Skis have created a whole level of tip and tail durability for the year 2007. Line Skis have laminated a layer of eurethane into the tips which enables Invader to flex during big impact instead of separate, for bombproof durability. Butter in control, ride fakie as comfortable as forward and spin like there is nothing on your feet with the Line Invader.
  • 100% Symmetric- Same ski shape and length in front and behind your boot, equal top/tail height, can be mounted and ridden either direction, handles and feels the same riding forward and fakie, reduced swing weight. 4D Fibercap- Fiberglass is layered in the four directions around the core of the ski, uncompromised strength and responsiveness in every direction throughout the ski.
  • Butter Zones- the ski’s profile is milled thinner at the specific point behind and the front of the binding to create a distinct flex point in the front and the back of the ski, smooth and easy nose and tail presses and buttering without giving up all mountain performance.
  • Center Mount- Center of boot/binding is mounted in exact center of ski length, optimal balanced swing weight, equal tip and tail length for stability landing both directions. Elliptical Sidecuts- Tight radius used in the tip and tail with medium radius underfoot, enhance turn initiation in softer snow and ability to carve off the lip of jumps for getting corked (snowboard like feel)
  • Fatty Base and Edge- Twice the thickness of standard edge and base, extremely durable and impact resistance, tune the ski many more times. Avoid those devastating core shots. Maple Macroblock Core- 100% wood core made from a blend of wider, higher quality Maple wood laminates, power and stability, lightweight and impact resistance.
  • Real Twin Tip- Equal height tip and tail, drives through uneven terrain equally when riding forward or fakie. Symmetric Flex- Identical flex pattern in the tip and tail, equal flex and responsiveness riding forward and fakie.
