Cheap
By KevinVerified Reviewer from Kirkland, WA on 10/19/2006
Pros:
Forgiving, Lightweight
Cons:
soft topsheet delaming
Best Uses:
Park and jibbin'

Comments about Line Skis Invader 2006:

these skis are very flexible and great for rails and jump and are very solid while riding switch. after about 2 months of hard skiing, the soft topsheet has started to delam from the ski. but its just the protective top sheet, not the graphic top sheet or anything super important.
but they were so cheap it doesn't matter.

By Park skier from Colorado on 12/2/2006
Pros:
Carving Ability, Lightweight
Cons:
Delaminates, Poor Construction
Best Uses:
Park

Comments about Line Skis Invader 2006:

Great ski for the first 2 months, but there are defects in the topsheet. The ink used reacts with the topsheet making it delaminate extremely quickly.

ABOUT Line Skis Invader 2006

The Invader is designed from the ground up to be a technical leader in the park and beyond. The Invader is the only ski in the world featuring a completely centered stance, symmetric shape, symmetric flex, and symmetric tips all backed by a freestyle snowboard like sidecut. The final icing on the cake is the revolutionary, one of a kind, Butter Zone technology. That’s right, you will be buttering, nose and tail pressing like a pro in no time, all for a price you can’t refuse.
  • Butter Zone Technology – The ski’s profile is milled thinner behind and in front of the binding to create a distinct flex point tip and tail. Smooth, consistent buttering, nose and tail presses
  • Fatty Base and Edge – Twice the thickness of standard edge and base. Avoid those devastating core shots
  • Maple Macroblock Core – 100% wood core made from a blend of wider, higher quality Maple wood laminates
  • Quickmount Ready – Mount a pair of Line bindings in seconds with Line Quickmount. Use only one pair of bindings between multiple pairs of skis, Real Twin Tip, Extruded Print Base, Matte Duraclear Topsheet, Symmetric Freestyle Geometry and Flex
  • Cannot ship outside the US
