Line Skis Influence Skis 2014
Charge hard through the steep and deep and conquer that no-fall zone. It's time to put the fun back in gravity with the Line Skis Influence Skis. A real powder ski that rips through variable snow and hard-pack alike with serious power, dampness and stability all while retaining agility. The pop and snap found in the Influence just isn't there in other big-mountain skis.
Early Rise™ - The rise in the tip starts early for effortless float in soft snow without sitting back and easier turn initiation in any conditions.
Profile - 11 / 5 / 8 mm (Early Rise Tip / Camber / Early Rise Tail)
Directional Flex™ - The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability & high speed control.
5-Cut™ - 5 Different sizes of sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control & unlimited turn shapes.
Early Taper™ - The widest point of sidecut starts tapering earlier to reduce drag and hooking in powder (both tip and tail).
Average Radius - The average turning radius of the 179, 186 and 192 cm Line Influence Skis is 21 m.
Thin Tip™ - Super thin core and sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight and tip bounce.
Maple Macro Block™ - 2 Full length maple stringers are surrounded by Aspen for lightweight durability. Core composition is 50% Aspen at the tips, 80% Maple underfoot
Metal Matrix - 3D die-cut metal titanal laminate provides more power and grip where you need it while reducing weight where you don't.
CapWall™ - Cap on the top for light & responsive performance, combined with 5 mm sidewall over the edges for a smooth solid feel
Carbon Ollieband™ - Tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers enhance energy and pop when you ollie over your snowboarder bros.
Fatty™ Base - 30% Thicker Base: 1.7 mm thick base for increased durability
Fatty™ Edge - 30% Thicker edge: 2 mm x 2.5 mm edge dramatically increases durability and tuning life.
