Miss the old school feel of laying down trenches, but still want a ski that can keep up when it snows? The Liberty Variant 97 Skis will support your skiing needs and will not waiver when the going gets chundery. With a titanal laminate extending throughout the ski, choppy and variable conditions are devoured whole, going utterly unnoticed by the rider. This burly, yet lightweight build will allow you to layout flawless GS turns on corduroy and still lap your buddies on the skin track. Get the Liberty Variant 97 Skis for widespread performance both in and out of the area.
Hammer Rocker Hammer Rocker has a very low rise tip rocker, combined with camber back to the tail for amazing edge grip with easy turn entry and flotation.
BC Tail A flat, stiff tail section with minimal camber that allows strong turn finishes, won't hook up on the steeps, and is a strong landing platform.
Metal Core Extra bamboo laminates and a Titanal layer for power, damping, and edge hold.
Bamboo Backbone Laminated bamboo gives tremendous rebound and energy while being environmentally friendly.
Fiber Reinforced Polymer Liberty uses mats of this dense material under the binding area to increase screw retention and add rigidity.
Quadaxial Glass Liberty's custom weave fiberglass creates tremendous torsional stability while allowing easy longitudinal flex to initiate turns and absorb terrain. While more expensive than other bi and tri- directional weaves, it enables Liberty to fine tune the flex characteristics of each ski.
ABS and Whitewalls Extra thick ABS helps reinforce against impacts and transmits energy for improved edge grip. Liberty's Whitewalls are made of resilient and repairable UHMW PE, for a smooth and durable ride.
Durathane A Poly-Urethane bumper to smooth out the ride and protect against top sheet chipping.
HRC 48 Liberty's specially treated HRC 48 edges feature a wider profile with larger anchors for greater durability and longer life.
Skin Compatible Low profile tapered tip and notched tail for quick and secure skin attachment.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Comments about Liberty Variant 97 Skis 2016:
I bought these skis at the beginning of the 14-15 season and they have served my style well. These skies are fast, stiff, and will crush anything in their way. I've been on a large variety of terrain with these and while they are well suited as an all mountain ski they truly excel at getting to the bottom as fast as possible, so if speed is not your preference, this is not the ski for you. The one downside I've noticed is that the top sheet chips relatively easily from the edge of the ski.
