With the Lib Tech NAS Backwards ReCurve Skis you can get a freestyle ride that money shouldn't be able to buy, but you can! With the Jib reCurve and Magne-Traction technologies, you have a freestyle ski that still gets after it all over the mountain! Hard pack? Psh chopped. Mashed Potatoes? Psh chopped. That kicker-to-rail combo? Psh SUPER chopped.
Rocker Type
Jib reCurve - eCURVE Magne-Traction lifts your tip and tails from ends of camber to traditional contact points, creating a “dynamic early rise” when boot pressure is applied to center of short camber. Easy float in broken snow and pow, mild pre-initiation for hardpack and ice carving, catch-free for jib presses, etc. and ideal for most of the market. Jib reCURVE (Flat / Camber / Flat) allows NASers to manage turn initiation and provides a stable jib platform beyond the short camber fulcrum.

Sidecut
Magne-Traction - SERRATED STEAKNIFE EDGE GRIP: Magne-Traction adds edgehold and focuses the control and power under your feet where your balance is centered. Each bump or serration is strategically sized and positioned. The most aggressive bumps are in the center near and under your boot for maximum edgehold and control. The bumps are progressively less aggressive out towards the tip and tails creating catch-free user friendly tips and tails. Magne-Traction’s incredible edge control when combined with reCURVE’s easy turn initiation and float make for an unreal smooth ride in all terrain and conditions from ice to pow.

  • Terrain: Park & Pipe
    Park & Pipe
Park and pipe skis, often called freestyle skis, are for skiers who spend the majority of their time on jumps, rails, and jibs of all kinds. Traditionally park and pipe skis have narrower waists with full camber profiles, but this category is incorporating more rocker patterns and different shapes. You will almost always find these skis with twin tips as well as other park specific features like thicker, more durable edges, dense extruded bases, and butter zones.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Flat/Camber/Flat
  • Turning Radius: Medium
    Medium
17-22 m radius is best for all-mountain and park & pipe.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Full Twin Tip
    Full Twin Tip
Desinged to allow you to ski backwards, full twin tips are found primarily on park & pipe skis and freestyle powder skis. More and more, we are seeing twin tips on all-mountain skis of all abilities, as it makes it a little easier to get around, and for the most part does not inhibit forward skiing.
