K2 SuperStitious Skis + Marker ERS 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2012: If you enjoy charging the entire mountain, riping turns on hard and variable snow conditions while also getting excited at the site of any fresh snow, the K2 SuperStitious Skis are for you. All-Terrain Rocker™, a wider waist, and women-specific lightweight technologies including a Metal Laminate provide top-notch performance in all snow conditions on and off-trail for top-notch skiers. So go pray to Ullr and get superstitious, that dance might actually make it snow.
Shape
All-Terrain Rocker™ is designed for all ability levels with added versatility and ease in all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance with camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.
Progressive Sidecut is a combination of two different radii that enhance the versatility of wider-waist skis. This guarantees improved turn initiation and hard-snow performance.
Construction
Lighter weight Women’s-Specific Mod Technology places thickness and mass in the optimum location to absorb vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge hold, power, and control without affecting the overall ski flex.
Women’s Specific Mod Monic is a focused mass-dampener made of a solid zinc mass that focuses mass dampening at a targeted location on the Mod structure.
Hybritech Sidewalls are a unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions that combine the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.
Dimensions

Bindings
The K2 SuperStitious Skis come with the demo Marker ERS 11.0 TC Bindings. This high end binding integrates with the ERS Plate through Titanal hubs that are imbedded into the core of the ski for the most direct transmission of power. The system hubs are functionally wider with a 50mm footprint, which decreases the distance between the binding and the edge of the ski for added performance.
Core and Flex Pattern
BioFlex 3 Core (80% Aspen, 20% Paulownia): dense Aspen underfoot fused with lightweight Paulownia at the tip and tail with blended Bamboo throughout for increased performance, strength, and durability with reduced swing weight.
Women’s Specific Metal Laminate consists of 2 thinner sheets of lightweight Titanal running the length of the ski. Alternating layers of fiberglass and Titanal sandwich the wood core to provide dampened, accurate, and unshakable performance.

      Comments about K2 SuperStitious Skis + Marker ERS 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2012:

I demo'ed this ski at Grand Targhee in 6 inches of new powder and leftover crud snow. It performed great. It really smoothed out the crud bumps and turned easily in the trees. It felt like a "cheater" ski to me in the deep "leftover" crud snow. Performed great in the steeps. My concern was if it was too soft for steep groomers since the snow at Targhee was "soft" that day. The above review answered that question for me. I did not notice the ski being "heavy". The tip rocker really absorbs the uneven crud and smooths the ride. I would highly recommend this ski to expert women skiers looking for a one ski all mountain performer.

      Comments about K2 SuperStitious Skis + Marker ERS 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2012:

Unfortunately I did not get to use these in any powder, bad snow week :-( but they were amazing on the steep blacks and groomers. Carved extremely well, tons of control, very smooth. Love the bindings as well. Heading back out in a week and hopefully will get to try them - nice wide tip so I am thinking they will float on powder!

They seem a bit heavy to me.
