Oh yeah, Big Mama's in the house. When K2
chose to model the K2
Remedy 112 Skis on the best-selling Shreditor 112, they knew what they were doing. Awesome in the deep, awesome on the groomed, and awesome everywhere in between, the K2
Remedy 112 is exactly what the doctor ordered for the expert woman skier who spends most of her day etching fresh tracks but doesn't let up on the throttle when she's next to the lift. The next-gen All Terrain Rocker profile with a tapered tip and tail gives you all the float you need on the deep days but still feels precise and lets you round your turns when needed to scrub off speed.
All-Terrain Rocker - Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.
Freeride Baseline 2.0 - Tapered Powder Tips with a blunt end maximize float but track well in firm untracked. Wide waist with low to medium camber preserves the surfy feel you want in pow and the responsive edge-to-edge performance you need on the groomed. The tail is blunt and tapered to maximize release and give a looser feel.
Fir and Aspen - Solid woods for solid performance
Triaxial Braid - Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.
TwinTech Sidewall - A unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions for accuracy and power underfoot combined with lightness, chip resistance and smooth turn initiation
Swap Base - K2 maximizes base material usage by alternating the contrasting die cut pieces - your base may be the reverse of what you see pictured.
K2 Skin Grommets - Built in tip and tail attachments for K2 skins give you the lightest and cleanest skin system available.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
K2 products can only be shipped within the U.S.
