K2 Recoil Skis 2012: Raised in the shadows of the legendary Public Enemy and Extreme, the K2 Recoil Skis have arrived as the new standard for a high performance all-mountain twin-tip. The Recoil is built solid enough to take a beating in the rowdiest of terrain parks and powerful enough to charge the whole mountain and in all conditions. All-Terrain Rocker makes this ski nimble, powerful, and floaty all at the same time. There you have it, a true living legend.
Shape
All-Terrain Rocker™ is designed for all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.
Bi-Directional Taper Sidecut gives a ski with slightly wider tip than tail the ability to perform exceptionally well while skiing in the forward direction, but with a similar switch arc for more consistent switch riding.
Construction
ABSorb Sidewalls sandwich a urethane layer in between ABS underfoot for shock absorption, lessening the impact of harsh landings.
TwinTech Construction increases the durability of the sidewalls. Unlike a traditional sidewall, this construction rolls the top material into the sidewall reducing the angle that is prone to abuse.
Tip/Tail Hardware - rivets for durability
3.5mm steel edges are durable and far more resistant to cracking.
Flex
Fir and Aspen core: solid and dense woods known for their inherent strength and durability.
Triaxial Braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control. This makes the ski incredibly energetic and responsive.
Dimensions
20m @ 179cm 121/90/115 (all sizes)
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15mm wider.

Comments about K2 Recoil Skis 2012:

These skis are awesome, it took me over two weeks to decide which pair of skis to buy and I cant be any happier with my choice. Very smooth ride, very stable at high speeds, kills it in the park. It is everything you could wish for in a pair of all-mountain skis.

Comments about K2 Recoil Skis 2012:

Skis are really solid and stable for big parks. I brought them to the mountain the other weekend expecting to ski park when a surprise storm hit and these skis shredded harder in pow, crud, cliffs than any park skis i've ever owned. With a small amount of rocker and 90mm underfoot these can handle anything. However if you're just a park rat and won't be hitting any big features or good terrain I would suggest the K2 Domain. They have nearly the same dimensions but a softer flex and cheaper price.
