K2 Bad Apple Skis - Youth - Boy's 2013

Get your little grom on the K2 Bad Apple Skis so they can experience one of the most progressive kid’s powder skis on the market. Built to the same punishing standards as the Factory Team series, this K2 ski will keep kids afloat no matter how deep the stash, making their day bottomless from first chair until last.
Shape
Powder Rocker™ - Designed for deep snow with the most elevated tip and longest measurement of rocker, offering skiers a “surfy” feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber region still exists to ensure edge hold in firmer conditions.

Directional Taper - A moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the ski’s performance in the forward direction. This means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.
Powder Tip - Pulls the widest point of the tip further down the ski, which retains float in soft snow, and also minimizes deflection in adverse snow conditions.

Construction
Aspen/Paulownia Core - Aspen is known for its inherent strength and durability, while the Paulownia is eco-friendly and lightweight.
Triaxial Braiding - Consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, making the ski incredibly energetic and responsive.

TwinTech Construction - Increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis by rolling the top material into the sidewall, reducing the angle that is prone to abuse, severely reducing ski to ski impact damage.

Graphics
**Please note that base colors will alternate and may not arrive exactly as pictured.
Additional Features
3.5mm Edges are thicker and far more resistant to cracking.
Swap Base - Ski bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

      Comments about K2 Bad Apple Skis - Youth - Boy's 2013:

Although i got the 2012 version, this ski was overall, a great ski. It was very durable, and very well built. I jumped 30 foot drops and landed 540's. However, unless you are expert-professional level, i do NOT recomend this ski. It was quite heavy, and you needed lots of experience to be able to turn this ski well enough. but, point being, if you are a very good skier, it is a great ski, and i definetly recommend it
