Product Info

Dark and mysterious like SethMo himself, the new K2 Annex 118 Skis have been redesigned with more taper and rocker in the tip and tail. The result is a more versatile ride that turns confidently at any speed and in any condition, but is still rock solid at mach speeds. Sound too good to be true? It's for real; this ski is a winner. Ideal for the big mountain ripper who wants the ability to tour when the chance presents itself, the Annex 118 has its own custom skins (available separately) that match up perfectly.

Shape

Freeride Stability Baseline 2.0Powder-focused long rise tip with All Terrain Rocker for awesome float in powder, moderate sidecut with low camber for predictable and consistent turns, and a tapered but flat tail for versatility with dependable finishing power

Powder TipDesigned to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.

Directional TaperModerately wider tip than tail maximizes the skis performance in the forward direction.

Core

Fir / Aspen / MapleStiff yet damp materials for a hard chargin' ride

Laminates

Triaxial BraidTriaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.

Sidewalls

TwinTech SidewallA unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions for accuracy and power underfoot combined with lightness, chip resistance and smooth turn initiation

Additional Features

K2 Skin GrommetsBuilt in tip and tail attachments for K2 skins give you the lightest and cleanest skin system available.
