Comments about Icelantic Keeper Skis 2012:

For reference I'm 5'8" 135lbs and went with the 178cm. I picked up the Keepers this year to fill the fat ski need in my quiver. Coming from the east coast I was skeptical of them due to the girth. Re-opening weekend at Sugarloaf,ME I decided to take them out on man-made crunchy refreeze and to my delight they railed on the groomers despite being 119mm underfoot and turned on a dime. They are super fast and stable. They are lightweight for their size and are super fun for slashing (manmade "powder" so far) and checking speed. They do have a bit of a planky feel, but that is to be expected of anything this size given my weight and if anything makes them the most stompable ski I have ever owned. I cant wait for the first powder day to test out what they can really do.

    Give 'er with the Keeper

Comments about Icelantic Keeper Skis 2012:

The Keeper is a burly powder ski that likes to go fast. I skied it on a less-than-average day and found it to be a little planky and sluggish to move around. At high speeds it is very stable and this is where it prefers to turn. I tend to like more playful skis, but on a deep day I can see where this ski would excel. Gotta love Icelantic's artwork.
