G3 District Skis 2013
The new G3 District Skis are an offshoot of the burbling success of the Tonic, but on a wider platform. With the same magical mix of skiing performance and tourability, the 112 mm waisted District caters to faster and bigger days with the addition of two thin sheets of Titanal for dampness at speed and on hard snow. The weight is still kept down by using the hybrid Poplar/Paulownia Core Light core. If you're shopping for a touring ski for those epic powder days, the G3 District is right in your neighborhood.
Rocker Type
Early Rise 3 - Extended early rise in both tip and tail with a mild positive camber zone in between yields positive control and edge control on hard surfaces with improved float and easy turn initiation in soft snow.
Core
Power Light Core - A fusion of G3's CoreLight Poplar/Paulownia core and its PowerRide freeride construction, with 2 added layers of titanal for stability and dampness and dual-density sidewalls for precise power transmission
Laminates
2 Sheets of Titanal Aluminum for smooth, vibration-free stability
Sidewalls
Dual Density ABS/TPU sidewalls
Base
P-Tex 2000
Binding Compatibility
Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
