I demo'd these at a spring demo day at Crystal. Conditions were fast groomers, and later in the day, heavy, and wet mank, chop, mashed potatoes.

Basically, this wide of a ski shouldn't carve as well as this ski does. Obviously the camber under foot is a big factor. But these skis are actually failry light for their size. They were quite decent in the moguls, which were soft due to he warm conditions. I did find some north facing aspects with firmer conditions, and they held an edge fairly well too.

It's easy to get these skis to swing around in tight areas. I put these through a tight tree lined chute, and they turn when you say turn, and you can scrub speed by just turning them to the side.

These are twin tipped, but the rear tip is not so pronounced as on the older Atua models. Very easy to release, and the tail does not feel hooky. I suspect this is due to the slight rocker in the tail.

They are a solid carving ski, with just very minor tip rocker. No real tip flap, and they just hook up when you put them on edge. I think based on my Atua's, and how well those skis do in under 10" of powder, that the Big Stix 110 would be really decent in over a foot of pow.
