Start cruising, carving and crushing the hill with confidence with the Dynastar Neva 78 Skis. From crud to corduroy, powder to piste the Neva is the tool you need to take your skiing to the next level. Offering a stable yet playful platform for progression, this ski is the gateway to comfort , control and confidence on the hill. Featuring a paulownia wood core and traditional camber underfoot, this ski bolsters the power and energy needed to spring from edge to edge on hard pack, while the Tip and Tail Rocker supply the forgiveness needed to ski in variable snow conditions. The Neva 78 does not disappoint but rather pleasantly surprises its users with a playful yet controlled and smooth ride.
Rocker Type
Tip and Tail Rocker - A rocker that's very progressive in the tip, with limited length and height, and even less pronounced in the tail. This ski pivots more easily but retains all its grip and carving performance. The rocker also improves tip flotation on varied terrain and powder, making it a decisive plus for All Mountain skiing.

Sidecut
S4 - Unique technology, specially for women. Stance, Sidecut, Sidewalls, Superlight. Each parameter is adjusted to create the most comprehensive women's range on the market.

Shape
Infinity Profile - Technology designed to create more maneuverable and stable skis. When flat, the ski pivots easily, thanks to the rocker. The infinity profile opens up the entire length of the edges when controlling turns, for greater grip and more confidence.

Core
Lightweight Paulownia Construction - This women's specific core features a lightweight Paulownia wood core and fiberglass laminate that reduces ski weight by 25% while maintaining powerful all-mountain performance, stability and edge grip.
Sidewalls
Middle Sidewalls - Sandwich construction in the middle of the ski, sidewalls under the skier's foot provide performance and precision. The CAP construction at tip and tail makes the skis lighter and allows easier pivoting.

Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as will as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
  • Turning Radius: Short
    Short
< 16 m radius is best for carving.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
    Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
