Comments about Dynastar Cham 107 Skis 2013:

skied the 184 and was wowed by the ability to change directions in a nano second whilst charging through afternoon rubbled out bumped out groomers. They hold a clean edge, scribe clean lines of a radius of your choosing. Felt like a World Cupper thats just a freeskier. Plenty stable obviously. As previously mentioned hopefully you don't have to carry these very far. Old world construction and feel that I have missed dearly. Made me feel younger.

      Dynastar Cham 107 184cm

Comments about Dynastar Cham 107 Skis 2013:

The tip rocker of the Cham made the ski very playful and fun, and the medium-wide waist (107mm) was wide enough to feel stable at higher speeds. The camber that runs underfoot and through the tail of the ski, along with the wider dimensions of the tip, made the ski very carvy and quick to turn. However, because the waist was not too narrow, and the ski tapers in the tail, it was not a hooky ski. I would recommend this ski to an advanced, directional skier who skis on the groomed half of the time, but enjoys skiing off trail and in mixed conditions half of the time as well.

Comments about Dynastar Cham 107 Skis 2013:

In spite of their low key graphics, this ski caught my eye by it's old school look, But that's about the only old school thing about the Cham. I guess I liked the look since they did match my 80s one piece. Anyway, looks don't really matter when a ski runs as well as this one does. I loved the aggressive rocker on the soft tip. It just hooked me right into my turns and setup edge purchase perfectly. I was super impressed with how well I could rail on these things. Super stable through the camber section, which goes all the way to the flat tail. That's right, no rocker, no twin on the tail. Just the rocker you want on the tip for float and quick turns, camber for mobbing any surface, hard pack, corn, or pow. I even ran some gates on them and they killed it. If I had to sum it up, Dynastar has made an epic ski that derserves an honest try from any doubters. All mountain fat ski that sets an edge like a skate, truly an awesome ride.

Comments about Dynastar Cham 107 Skis 2013:

I had the chance to demo these skis for a few runs. I had low expectations given the graphics and overall Dynastar history with the reverse camber phenomena. That said, I found these skis quite stable and a lot of fun. The shape seemed to help with turn initiation and they responded quickly. They could have been a bit stiffer for high speeds.

      fast, long turns

Comments about Dynastar Cham 107 Skis 2013:

Wow!! Talk about a fast ski. Dynastar really put thought into the shape and rocker pattern of the Cham. A good amount of camber underfoot really held an edge on the groomed runs. I've skied both the Cham 97 and the Cham 107 and the 107 has a much bigger turn radius and creates longer turns. I personally prefer a longer turn radius for all mountain skiing but if I was only skiing groomed, fast terrain I would probably opt for the Cham 97. The flat tail adds of lot of power when exiting the turn and feels really smooth. Metal in the core adds quite a bit of weight but also makes it feel more substantial under your foot and steady at higher speeds.
