Dynafit Manaslu Skis 2013

Arguably the single most versatile touring ski ever built, the Dynafit Manaslu Alpine Touring Ski has been upgraded with the bamboo and beech stringer core construction of the Stoke ski for better torsional rigidity and edge hold. The ski touring specific Scoop-Rocker in the tip rides up and over challenging snow with ease, and the category-leading light weight and clean Dynafit Speed Skin design lets you crush the uphill.
Rocker Type
Scoop Rocker - Sometimes referred to as the "backcountry bend," this smooth and consistently increasing tip rocker floats like crazy without giving up any more edgehold than necessary. Dimensions are specific to each ski length.

Sidecut
Dual Radius Sidecut - A wider radius at the tip gives stability at speed, while a sharper radius in the tail provides quick carving when the ski is put on edge. 33.5/19m @ 169, 35.4/21 m @ 178, 36.1/23m @ 187

Shape
Tapered Tail - A tapered ski tail makes slotting skis into backpack carry loops easier and lets the tips float a bit higher in deep snow.
Core
Isocore Paulownia Ultralight Core - Beech and bamboo stringers added for strength, liveliness and rigidity

Laminates
Core Coating - Quadraxial-Biaxial pre-preg guarantees maximal torsional stiffness and integrity of construction.
Base
Sintered Graphite Base - More durable, with improved gliding characteristics and better wax resorption
Additional Features
Skin Attachment - Patented SpeedSkin attachment is built into the ski - it's light, secure, and easy to deskin without removing your skis.
Binding Compatibility
Compatible with all Tech bindings - Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Comments about Dynafit Manaslu Skis 2013:

This ski is a classic. My main winter touring ski for the past 4 seasons, the Manaslu still leads the pack in the weight/width category and kicks butt in any kind of soft snow.

For the Fearless, Fast Rider

Comments about Dynafit Manaslu Skis 2013:

It all starts with the Manaslu's construction. Beech and bamboo stringer stiffen up this stick to a hardened attack piece. Edge hold can hardly do justice to this ski's zip-and-throw out of a well laid turn. Fiberglass and biaxial carbon reinforcement in upper and lower layers simply add to the flavor of this hardened weapon for the slopes. Not meant for the leisurely ride but for the work-out driven skier looking to get the legs burning. Bring a chair for this ski, because if you're not ready to push these bad-boys to their potential, they'll put you in it.
