Atomic D2 Vf 75 Skis + NTL 12 Bindings 2012: The D2 VF 75 brings the spirit of carving performance to an all-day every-day ski. Using Atomic’s Double Deck, or D2, technology, the VF is extremely dynamic and able to adapt to just about any snow pack or turn shape. Combined with a Densolite core, the VF 75 doesn’t require huge amounts of energy to ski but holds a strong edge when the snowpack turns icy. The result: a precise carving tool with a relaxed feel that will suit a variety of skiing abilities.

Active Camber shape has a maximum edge length for running stability when weighted and for perfect grip on ice when edged up

Double deck cap construction has 2 freely gliding decks combined for maximum with an optimally smooth ride.

Bindings

A D2 Vario Flex Densolite core is lightweight but holds a strong edge
With the D2 Vario Flex, the elastomer-mounted connection between the upper and the lower deck influences the way the ski flexes according to current skiing speed; the flex builds up progressively and uses the desired rebound to support acceleration out of turns

Great groomers. These skis are so quick they almost turn by themselves (big sidecut), and so fast I have to work at keeping up with them or whoa them back - just what I wanted! The edges grip and cut flawlessly - of course they are new. Not as nimble in the bumps as I had hoped, but not bad. Tips will bury in more than 3" of powder, but these aren't my pow skis. Fast & furious skis!
