Warning: these are not your grandma's park skis. With Armada's most durable bases, edges and sidewalls, the ARW is a hard-charging park ski with all mountain capabilities. To make the ski even more lively and responsive, Armada has included carbon kevlar stringers in the tail of the ski, making it stiff and supportive at high speeds. Positive Camber – Traditional camber engages the tip and tail of the ski, enhancing ease of entry and exit into and out of a turn, while maintaining solid edge hold.
Flex
Armada Flex – Tip - 5.5, Waist - 7.5, Tail - 6.5 (1 = Softest, 10 = Stiffest)
Core
Hybrid Double Zone Core – Additional hard-wood laminates create the ultimate in power and control.
Laminates
Laminate Matrix – Directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity.
Carbon Kevlar Stringers – Carbon and Kevlar stringers are used in the tail to add pop and extend life.
Sidewalls
AR50 Sidewall – Cap construction in the tip and tail and sidewall under foot - balancing performance characteristics with lower swing-weight and increased durability.
Base
S7 Base – Durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness.
Edges
2.5 mm Impact Edge – Oversized and specially heat-treated, built to resist impact damage.
Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Park & Pipe Park and pipe skis, often called freestyle skis, are for skiers who spend the majority of their time on jumps, rails, and jibs of all kinds. Traditionally park and pipe skis have narrower waists with full camber profiles, but this category is incorporating more rocker patterns and different shapes. You will almost always find these skis with twin tips as well as other park specific features like thicker, more durable edges, dense extruded bases, and butter zones. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
