Positive Camber engages the tip and tail of the ski, enhancing ease of entry and exit into and out of a turn, while maintaining solid edge hold.
Construction
Two strips of ABS material lie directly alongside the core and over the ski’s edges, providing solid edge hold, core protection, and stability.
The ARVw has a 2.5 edge, an oversized height and width and the steel heat-treated to a proprietary hardness which helps resist breaking and tearing out from rails, ledges, and other abuse.
The 50/50 base is faster than Armada’s S7 base but more rugged than the Comp series.
The Laminate Matrix consists of three kinds of fiberglass laminates are used in combination to deliver the exact amount of flex and torsional rigidity needed in the appropriate places.
A blend of Carbon/Kevlar stringers run along the tail of the ski to stabilize it, creating a better landing platform, increased snap and added pop to ollies.
Flex
The UltraLight core is made up of select 375kg/m3 wood stringers that have unusually high strength-to-weight ratios so the ARVw maintains a light but stable feel.

Binding Compatibility
We recommend a brake that is equal to the waist width and at most 20mm wider. (brake width = ski width + 20mm)
