Armada AR7 Skis 2013

You have got to love throwback graphics! Come on, literally amazing. The Armada AR7 Skis are the flagship park skis, and in celebration of Armada's 10th anniversary the original graphics are back! This ski not only looks good, but packs a punch with all the tech features you'd expect from Armada as they continue to push the progression of the sport to new levels. The Armada AR7 is super versatile and will take you from groomers to your first laps through the park all the way on up to the podium.
Rocker Type
Positive Camber - Traditional camber engages the tip and tail of the ski, enhancing ease of entry and exit into and out of a turn, while maintaining solid edge control.
Flex
Stiffer Flex - provides less flex and gives you a greater all mountain range.
Flex Pattern - Tip: 6, Waist: 8, Tail: 7 (1=soft; 10=stiff)
Core
Hybrid Triple Zone Core - Three high density wood stringers sit along ultra light wood for a powerful, durable core with explosive energy return. Triple Zone cores resist compression without creating unnecessary weight.
Laminates
Laminate Matrix - Deliberate directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity and allows each ski's flex to be precisely tuned. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex; Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski; Tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski.
CK Stringer - Carbon Kevlar combo stringers lie on top of the laminate matrix along the tail to brace the ski. This increases the landing platform, especially when weight is distributed farther back in the ski than intended. It also gives the ski more pop and extends ski life.
Sidewalls
AR50 Sidewall Construction - ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced edgehold and significantly lower swing and overall weight.
Base
S7 Base - Armada's toughest base is durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness.
Edges
2.5 Impact Edge - This edge has an oversized height and width, and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness, which helps resist breaking and tearing out from rails, ledges and any other abuse it might meet.
Graphics
In honor of Armada's 10th Anniversary the original graphic has returned!
Binding Compatibility
Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Comments about Armada AR7 Skis 2013:

Awesome ski. Perfect for park jumps and rails, super stable, very balanced. I use it almost exclusively in the park, but it is also my go to for ripping groomer days. This is the best ski you can buy if you are looking for an on-piste ski that does everything (except powder of course). Love this thing in the air, and the best part? This ski is bullet proof, stands up very well to abuse from jumps and rails so it actually will last you more than one season if you are a dedicated park skier, unlike many park skis that fall apart after a season of heavy use. Best ski I have ever owned. Buy it.

Comments about Armada AR7 Skis 2013:

Got these for the end of the season and skied them a couple times already. Great all mountain ski. Sidewall carves and holds any edge on groomers. Ripped them all over the mountain and pushed them hard. Cleanly rode over any bumps that developed throughout the day.

Super easy to spin in the park even though I'm not sitting right in the middle of them these days. Handled all rails and boxes well.

Would recommend for any east coast all mountain skier.

Ive been riding them for over 2 months now and they are great!! I ride mostly park, but they also preform very well on groomed runs. Overall, they are really fun skis and I'd recommend them to anyone you wants to just have fun riding

        AR7

Comments about Armada AR7 Skis 2013:

Fun & playful but still liked to lock up and rip on some good times turning. Great all mountain ski for some intermediates & fun for those experts who want a high performance ski to play on in the park.

Super poppy and fun while not being too soft like may park skis. Makes it an awesome all mountain park ski

Comments about Armada AR7 Skis 2013:

The AR7 is a blast. Nice and snappy with plenty of pop. It's lightweight yet doesn't really have a speed limit. No rocker, no matter. Great everyday carver that crushes the park. It was a blast hopping back on some skinny skis for a change.

This ski kills it in any condition and is really snappy and responsive as well as being also to withstand any bumps or crazy terrain.

        Throwback graphics = awesome

Comments about Armada AR7 Skis 2013:

These skis seemed to handle decently well all mountain, but should be an excellent park ski. They are a very light weight ski with a medium flex, which made them have a tendency to get bounced around a little bit when skiing all mountain aggressively. However that light weight will make them excellent for spinning in the park. Overall they seem like a very good ski for park, but won't be as good as some of their other options for skiing all mountain.
