Armada Alpha 2 Skis 2010: The Alpha 2 brings the revolutionary Elf Shoe Tech of the Alpha 1 to the masses. Subtle differences like a modified Hybrid AR Core 1 and the S7 Base ensure uncompromised durability and dramatically enhance the ski’s ability to butter jumps and press rails and boxes. Whether it’s further across the park or higher above the pipe, the Alpha 2 is proof of concept for Armada’s Elf Shoe Technology.

  • Core and Flex Pattern:AR Hybrid Core 1: This core construction method creates a finished ski with sidewall underfoot and cap construction in the tip and tail to improve durability and lower swing weight. Forgiving in the tips, stiff underfoot.
  • Construction:2.5 Impact Edge: This edge exists for one reason – it’s durable. Designed to resist breaking and tearing out from rocks, rails and another abuse it might meet. AR 50 Sidewall Construction: Enhanced edge-hold and significantly lowered swing and overall weight. S7 Base – Incorporates a new gliding additive for increased speed and minimal maintenance. Also has higher quality transparency which better displays the digitally printed base graphics.
  • Shape:Elf Shoe Tech: Combines the progressive elements of tapered and rockered tips and tails, which dramatically enhance a ski’s floating abilities while lowering its swing weight, with the proven qualities of cambered sidecut underfoot.
  • Binding Compatibility:Requires brake width of at least 80mm

      these skis are awesome skis cant get better in the park..... first day with them i tore up the slopes and burned the jumps fairly lite with a lite spin weight park skis cant get any better!! :) if you buy these skis get them a little longer than normal because the rockered tips and tails make them feel shorter the rockers pwn in powder

              Great ski. The sidecut on it makes it very hooky at the beginning of learning how to ride it, however once you learn the skis characteristics its a very fun ride. Makes carving into jumps a breeze and hooking your tips on rails a thing of the past. Definitely a great buy.
