Maybe Wu Tang isn't for the children, but we tend to agree with Edollo on this one. Just like a plate of spaghetti from Little Italy, the Armada Al Dente Skis have been cooked to perfection and have the street cred to back it up. Henrik Harlaut wanted a ski stable enough to stomp landings but soft enough to butter. Combining the best of those worlds, the Al Dente features AR Nose Rocker and a softer tip so you can dial in a butter cork 7 without catching the tips. Durability is a no-brainer; Armada's AR50 construction and 2.7 edges are bombproof. No matter what you do, remember what Edollo says: "Wu Tang is for the Children!"
AR Nose Rocker Traditional sidecut profile with tip rocker - for all mountain everyday ripping
Flex Tip - 4, Waist - 5, Tail - 5 (1 = Softest, 10 = Stiffest)
Hybrid Double Zone Core Two high density wood stringers
Carbon Kevlar Stringers Carbon and Kevlar stringers used in the tail to add pop and extend life
Laminate Matrix Directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity.
Carbon Fiber Layup Carbon fiber strips laid in from tip to tail add liveliness to ski.
AR50 Sidewall Cap in the tip and tail, sidewall under foot - balancing performance characteristics with lower swing-weight and increased durability.
S7 Base Durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness.
2.2 Edge Heat treated, built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability
