These skis are very light weight and flexible. Good with center mount for park riders. Stable on rails and light with spins. Best ski's i own, i would 100% recommend these skis for park riders but they are also fun for just riding.

I bought a pair of these last year and I absolutely loved the skis. They are great in the park and pipe and are great all around the mountain. I ski the 183's and all that extra tail if you mount them near center is so forgiving. Unfortunately my pair was a bit of a fluke and fell apart on me only after about 15 days of skiing. So I contacted 4-FRNT and within a day I had received an email back [...] incredibly concerned as they had seen very few warranties this year. In a series of prompt emails back and forth, I discussed my circumstances with Matt and after my skis had been sent off to the distribution center Matt sent them an email of recommendation on my behalf. Now I have a brand new pair of 4-FRNT STLs waiting for me. I must say that 4-FRNT has the BEST customer service out of ANY industry that I have ever experienced. End of story.

This are great skis. Great in the park and pipe and even perform very well all over the mountain. I've had mine for a season and love them. They are bulletproof and really well made. Can't say enough good stuff about these...

ABOUT 4FRNT STL Skis 2007

The 4FRNT STL Skis, fresh out of surgery, got a bit of a face lift for 06/07. The running surface has been lengthened to increase performance and stability without adding extra weight and length to the ski. Still built like a rock with full-length wood cores inside a sandwich construction. This ski rips the trails and flies through the park.
  • Slopestyle- Ideal for to bottom park runs. Flex is stiffer under foot for stability at higher speeds and jumping but softer in the tips and tails for jibbing. Tip and tail materials are lightened to reduce swingweight for quick spins.
  • HYPER Core- Hearty woods under foot and lighter woods in the tip and tail
  • UHMW Sidewall- Flexible and forgiving
  • 2.2mm edge, printed 4001 base
  • "When we designed the STL, I wanted it to be playful, but super stable. I found the perfect combination of wood cores with an all maple center and aspen tip and tail. For me it is a necessity for progressing my park skills, it doesn't even feel like I have skis on my feet. Tricks and bigger spins come together easier, and I always have a solid landing because of the not-too-stiff tail.
