K2 Utility Pole Ski Poles 2012: Part of the K2 Team Series, the K2 Utility Ski Poles feature new TRIAX Carbon Technology for a stronger and lighter 14mm diameter pole. Shaft
The K2 Utility Pole Ski Poles are built with TRIAX Carbon Technology, using the controlled process of winding 100% carbon unidirectional fibers at a 60 degree angle around the outside of the shaft. The external TRIAX fibers reinforce and control the uni-directional fibers of the pole to create a more durable and stiff shaft. The K2 High Style Poles feature a thinner 14mm shaft that is stiffer and lighter than any of K2’s other poles.
Grip
Dual Durometer grip has a small profile core that is over molded with a thicker, softer outer layer that allows for a comfortable secure feel. The Top of the grip features a dome shaped urethane badge that remains comfortable when top- palming the grip.
Straps
In-grip strap adjustment is easy to adjust and uses an internal cam lock that adjusts by simply pulling on the top strap to loosen and pulling on the lower strap tail to tighten.
