Product Info

This is the classic - every backcountry skier or snowboarder needs at least one pair of these in the quiver. The Black Diamond Traverse Ski Poles are all-aluminum two-piece adjustable poles made even better this year with the bomber Flicklock® Pro stainless steel adjustment system. This pole is tough as nails, doesn't slip when you plant it hard, and when you do break a shaft you can replace it cheaply through Black Diamond's website. Everyone from backcountry beginners to badass first descenders uses these.

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Snowshoeing

Comments about Black Diamond Traverse Adjustable Ski Poles 2015:

Very light but very durable. Used to snowshoe up and board down. Downfall is that they are not the triples, which I now have and which are best for snowboarders. I did lose a basket on the first day of use, though. Make sure to get extra baskets!
