Rocker Type
Powder Rocker™ - This is designed for deep snow with the most elevated tip and longest measurement of rocker, offering skiers a “surfy” feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber region still exists to ensure edge hold in firmer conditions.
Sidecut
Directional Taper - A moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the ski’s performance in the forward direction - this means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.
Flex
Powder Tip - Pulls the widest point of the tip further down the ski, which retains float in soft snow, and also minimizes deflection in adverse snow conditions
Core
Aspen and Paulownia Core - Aspen is solid and dense; Paulownia is an eco-friendly, fast-growing renewable wood that is incredibly strong and very lightweight.
Laminates
Triaxial Braiding - Consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, making the ski incredibly energetic and responsive
Sidewalls
TwinTech Construction - Increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis by rolling the top material into the sidewall, reducing the angle that is prone to abuse, severely reducing ski to ski impact damage
Base
Swap Base - Ski bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted.
Edges
3.5 mm edges are thicker and far more resistant to cracking
