You like to go hard and you know how to. If you find yourself constantly being oohed and ahhed after on the mountain, then the K2 AMP Bolt Skis + MX 14 Bindings package is for you. With a setup fit for an expert, this package features top of the line skis from K2's AMP line. The Bolts are equipped with Speed Rocker, which makes for both flawless transitions as well as ultimate precision. A wood core and Mod Technology team up to provide energy and rebound as well as vibration absorption and more control. On top of that, this package offers the K2/Marker MX System, which uses Marker's Inter-Pivot Heel technology and lightweight Triple-Pivot Comfort MX toe. If carving is your game, the K2 AMP Bolt Skis + MX 14 Bindings package is calling your name.
Rocker Type
Speed Rocker - This slightly elevated tip and increased tip length provides effortless initiation and flawless transitions, while camber along the rest of the running surface delivers precision, power, and edge-hold.

Core
Wood Core - K2 uses a variety of wood cores for energy, rebound, and a liveliness only found in wood core skis. Their wood cores consist of a blend of different species of wood based on the desired flex and target performance of the ski.
Mod Technology - High-Performance Suspension System Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected.

Carbon Web - Enveloping the Mod structure with a carbon weave where the strands of carbon are laid at precise angles for an additional level of torsional rigidity on the secondary core. This keeps the ski light but gives you the additional torsional strength where you need it most.

Laminates
Metal Laminate - Built from the base up, a metal laminate construction consists of alternating layers of fiberglass and titanal above and below the core. Metal Laminates provide damp, accurate, unshakable performance, ideal for expert and advanced level skiers.
Sidewalls
Hybritech Sidewall - Hybritech is a unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions. The construction combines the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.
Additional Features
Speed Rox Technology
Included Bindings
Bindings Do Not Come Mounted to Skis - Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.
K2/Marker MX System - Working in conjunction with the integrated hubs, the K2/Marker MX system provides unmatched precision and control on K2's Precision Piste A.M.P models. The system uses Marker's Inter-Pivot Heel technology and lightweight Triple-Pivot Comfort MX toe. This toe comes complete with a cross-mounted spring, stainless steel AFD, and backward release function.

Specs

  • Terrain: Carving
    Carving
For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber
    Rocker/Camber
Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
  • Turning Radius: Long, Medium
  • Core/Laminates: Metal, Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
    Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
