The Head REV 85 Pro Skis rail the groomed like the 6:45 express train from Innsbruck to Salzberg, and still has a touch of tip rocker to kill it in soft snow. Paired with the Head PRD 12 Wide 88 Bindings, this package is ideal for advanced inbounds skiers who spend the majority of their time on prepared snow but aren't afraid to venture out beyond the ropes when the powder calls.
Rocker Type
Allride Rocker - A targeted amount of rocker that's specific to each ski model, Head's Allride Rocker improves soft snow performance and makes turn initiation easy for a full range of abilities.
Sidecut
Progressive Radius - A large radius sidecut in the mid-body and tail of the ski combined with a smaller radius in the tip reduces the amount of angulation required to initiate turns.

I demoed these on 3/14/13 after a 5 day warm-up in temp, so conditions were not the best, this ski loves to go fast and fly down the mountain. Just point the ski downhill and these will take you there in a hurry! This is my first time with Head skis and I'm very impressed. Not for beginners and they do not like short turns. Med-wide arcs and you'll do great.

        These skis are a whole lot of fun in varied terrain resort skiing. I recently used them in mixed spring skiing and they happily beat through crusty stuff and slush with ease. I wouldn't want to try and win a GS race on them, but nor do I expect them to operate this way. I found them very playful and responsive. I would say they are quick turning with a short radius. You just want to turn-turn-turn on these things. Great in-bounds boards.
