A classic design in the binding world, Rossignol combines a turntable heel with a dual action toe piece and zero ramp angle (you are flat on the ski). This combination provides not only the most elasticity on the market but also tight precision and performance, making the Rossignol FKS 140 XXL a bomb proof binding that offers the most protection for your tender ligaments.

Recommended Use

          Id say this is definetly the best constructed binding ive ever used. The whole unit really is indestructable. Mounting was really easy as rossignol provided an easy to use template that removed any ambiguity from drilling my brand new lhasa pows. I feel very secure once in the binding and never have to worry about pre-release, which is probably the most important quality of a high-DIN binding, peace-of-mind. Entering the binding is more difficult than a standard binding however. When stepping in, the binding does have a tendency to pivot at the heal, but that is the price to pay for the advantages of the turnable design. It is something to be aware of, but hardly a deal breaker in my mind. There is a reason that pros demanded the return of this heal design after it was discontinued a few years ago. It is simply the best on the market.
