      Comments about Salomon STH 115mm Ski Brakes 2013:

      The brakes themselves work fine in normal use. However if you put your skis base to base with the brakes locking them together for carrying, don't twist the skis trying to separate them. I bent a set of brakes doing that and that's why I bought these. The brake attaches to the binding via a set of two thin metal tabs, and the tabs can bend if the brake arms are twisted. Not exactly bomber.

      The Marker brakes on the Duke, Baron, etc. are more sturdy.
