I bought some newer wider skis and didn't want to throw out by old bindings, but the brakes weren't wide enough. These did the job. Only complaint is the price. But evo did have the best price I could find.

When buying a $300+ binding one should not have to pay full price for a brake - right now the only option is to put the brake that comes with the binding on the shelf and shell out $50+ for these brakes. TACKY!

Other than the harsh price tag for something that should be a standard option on the binding, they perform exactly how they should so can't complain.

fit's my dynastars 120mm waist. my original dukes were with narrow breaks, and didn't work at all on wide skis. i still swap the bindings btw 2 sets of skis, and have to replace breaks as well. they are pretty easy to change...

This brake is perfect for those who want to use one of the Marker Royal Family bindings but on skis wider than the stock 110mm allow. They are a perfect addition to anyone that wants a Freeride/Alpine Touring setup like the Baron or Duke on fat skis. These fit perfect on my 115mm waist powder skis, a much better option than bending out the skinnier brake. All in all, it solved alot of the issues that I was running into and maintains any warranty issues.

These brakes are a pain in the butt to buy because the bindings cost so much initially and if you ride anything resembling a modern powder ski, you will need them. The regular brakes look like you might be able to bend them a lot and still fit on a wide ski, but they wouldn't function as well to stop your ski on a steep slope. These things are a huge rip-off but basically a necessary evil if you have a powder skis. They can also be a little tricky to slide onto the bindings the first couple times but they will go on, you just got to really jam them.
