Comments about Powell Powell Peralta Mini Caballero Dragon II Skateboard Complete:

I got this for my sons 7th birthday. He wanted a true "pool board" but it is hard to find one in a smaller size. This fits the bill. I do believe we will be changing out the wheels for something a bit harder but this is a good quality serious skateboard for the younger crowd.

Picked up this board as a birthday gift for my 4 year old nephew. i was afraid to get him a full size board as he is only 4. This board was perfect! Great size, softer wheels, "kid safe" yet "old skater" approved graphics. My nephew was way into it and that we could skate together...for as long as the attention span of a 4 year old lasts.

Comments about Powell Powell Peralta Mini Caballero Dragon II Skateboard Complete:

Purchased this deck for my 9 year old son, who is still a beginner but can cruise around our local skatepark fairly well. For the price, the quality is outstanding! The concave, shape, and wheelbase, are perfect for a smaller skater. It comes with house brand "Skate One" trucks, but they actually turn well for him (appropriate bushing hardness for a lighter skater). It comes with mini-logo bearings, which are very smooth and work perfectly well. The wheels are a little on the softer side at 90a, but that provides a smoother ride in the street and he doesn't need the speed that 100a might provide. Also the difference in speed between 90a and 100a isn't going to be as noticeable on "mini" sized rider because they weigh less. The grip tape was pre-applied perfectly, no rough edges or weird/irregular shapes. The deck itself is standard Powell-Peralta quality, enough said there. Overall, this is an outstanding board for the price.
