i am a surfer and bought this board to practice on days when the surf is low. this skate board is amazing. nothing resembles surfing as close as this longboard. it actually improves my surfing technique.

This Is a really really stable board, The trucks are heavier[*]so I suggest replacing those. The wheels also are kinda thin and cheap. I replaced them with some zig zags and am stoked. I still need to get some new trucks but eh, not that big of a deal. This board is sturdy, I dont see it ever breaking...I wish it had a little more flex to it but because its only bamboo on the top layer it has the same feel as any rock maple longboard. This is definately my stick of choice freom the quiver for big gnarly hills, when I wanna sit and go down little hills with my baby on board, or if I just feel like trying to ride a longboard like a regular deck(ollies, and indies all day) the kick flip or heelflip is a bit hard(i think lighter trucks would help). All in all it is a good first longboard. but it is lacking in some areas. It needs to have more flex in my opinion, the nose is set in a way that you cant really do nose manuals, or nollies, And because of its size its sort of hard to do sidewalk surfing(you can) it just kinda gets sketchy if there is cars and such and you need to make a quick turn. All in all I would probably buy it again, or go with one with a little bit more flex.

This board is awesome! for a first time longboarder I was very impressed at how smooth of a ride it is. I love how sturdy it is, I have some boarding friends that have non-bamboo boards and they have already replaced them, with bamboo. This board rides smooth and fast! My only problem was there was a fair bit of adjustment on the stuts. but all in all I LOVE THIS BOARD!
