Comments about BCA B-52 Extendable Bomber Shovel:

The shovel is awesome. Bigger is better when it come's to shovels and possibly saving someone's life. It still fit's in most backpack's and is light weight.

Comments about BCA B-52 Extendable Bomber Shovel:

I've skied my whole life and now that I'm 22 I'm just starting to explore the woods and out of bounds areas at my mountain. I purchased this shovel and a pack from mountain hardwear to carry camera equipment into the woods to set up jumps and refine cliff drops. The shovel is crazy light and fits easily in my pack but the best part is how well it can build and shape a jump. I chose the B-52 after eyeing the Black Diamond Deploy 7 because it was cheaper and had a larger blade and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It has a huge blade, a longer shaft extension, and cost $30 less!
