Compound Pant 2.0 is a beast. What does that mean, exactly? First off, the Compound is durable. Reinforced Cordura knees and cuffs mean you won't shred your pants after only a few days hiking or skiing around your local zone. Second, Flylow
used Polartec Neoshell, a highly waterproof and the most breathable material available, making the Compound 2.0 perfect for skiers that expect to move a lot - be that touring, building kickers or simply top to bottoming your mountain bell to bell. The pant is so breathable in fact, that there is "passive airflow" that occurs through the fabric. What does that mean to you? It means that no matter how hard you work for those turns, whether shredding in-bounds, out of bounds or somewhere in between, you can count on air moving through the garment to ensure you do not overheat. For the ultimate in keeping you protected from the elements, the Flylow
Compound Pant 2.0 should be your go-to style.
Polartec® NeoShell - 100% Nylon
High Performance DWR (Durable Water Repellent) - All of Flylow's exterior shells and midlayers are treated with a DWR coating, which stops precipitation from soaking into the fibers of a product's face fabric, aiding in quick fabric dry times and helping you stay dry and warm in storms. All of Flylow's technical garments will retain 80% water repellency after 20 washes.
Nylon Oxford Cordura Cuffs | 1,000 Denier - This tough canvas-like cloth fabric, which is often used as pack cloth in the military, adds durability, abrasion-resistance, and hardiness to the knees and cuffs of Flylow pants. High-grade Cordura means you'll have to try harder to cut up the bottom of your pants with your ski edges (good luck with that).
Reinforced Internal Knee Box - This a technology Flylow is pioneering using a Bemis laminate to give additional strength to a pre-shaped knee box.
Polartec® NeoShell - Neoshell is the most breathable and waterproof temperature-regulating three-layer fabric available. Using ultra thin stretched polyurethane, Neoshell is an air permeable waterproof membrane. Polartec allows Flylow to select the appropriate face fabric for their needs, so they can make this ultra technical membrane as tough as they require.
Freeride Fit - Not too baggy and not too tight. Just right to give you great range of motion while not sacrificing weight or performance.
Articulated Knee Box - Pre-shaped knees on your pants to make for better range of motion.
Cross Flow Venting - Open the inner and outer thigh vents and feel the air keeping you dry and cool.
Fully Seam Taped - Garments are only considered waterproof if taped. Flylow over builds their gear and outfit their seam-taped gear with 20-millimeter tape that exceeds the industry standards.
Powder Skirt Snap System - Allow your powder skirt to snap into the accompanying pant.
YKK Zippers - Waterproof, coil and big tooth zippers are used based on each design.
